Team Check In: All teams must check in prior to the beginning of the race. Check in will take place inside the UNOmaha Heath, Physical Education and Recreation building. Please use the east doors. (Top of the stairs that lead from the football field). Check in begins at 8:30 and ends at 9:20.
Parking: Teams may park in Elmwood Park, or on the UNO Campus. We encouarge you to embrace the spirit of the event and BIKE to the starting line! Bike parking will be available on the east side of the HPER building.
Bag Check: A limited amount of space will be available for teams to leave non-essential gear (bike helmets, car keys, etc.) at check in. We will have a volunteer keeping watch; however, all gear checked is at your own risk.
Weather/Plan B: While the point of this event is to emphasize the fact that you can still do a lot even when it's cold, we realize that there is a limitation to this theory! The race will go on rain, snow or shine. BUT.... in the event of truly unbearable/unsafe conditions, we will go with Plan B, which is skipping straight to the Hot Cocoa! Notification of switching to Plan B will be posted on this website, the Activate Omaha Faceboook page, and tweeted from @ActivateOmaha.
No refunds will be given in the event of weather cancellation; however, please join us that morning between 8:30 & 11 at the UNO HPER building to pick up your t-shirt, your goodies, and enjoy a warm beverage!!
